Grades : Key grades we regularly process are: Gr5 (Ti:89-91%, Al:6%, V:4%), Gr9 (Ti:94-95%, Al:3%, V:2.5%), 10-2-3 (Ti:85%, V:10%, Fe:2%, Al:3%,), 6-2-4-2 (Al:6%, Sn:2%, Zr:4%, Mo:2%), Commercially Pure

Type: Bulk weldable and feedstock

Forms: Billets, Slabs, Sheets, flashings, targets, stampings, discs

OUR TYPICAL UNPROCESSED MATERIAL REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS:

Quality: no castings, no contamination of any kind (unless agreed in prior), no blind holes (unless bottom is fully seen), no non-Ti attachments, no cracked/exploded ends (i.e. exfoliation), Feedstock – 2.5kg each piece; Bulk Weldable more than 2.5kg each piece

Titanium

Grades: 6/4, Mixed (Min 88% Ti ), Commercially Pure

Cobalt Alloys

Cobalt bearing alloys in all forms and grades ( solids, turnings, process residues (sludge) both VAC quality and refinery grade.

Nickel Alloys

Nickel bearing alloys in all forms and grades ( solids, turnings, process residues (sludge) both VAC quality and refinery grade.

Spent Catalysts

Molybdenum, Vanadium, Nickel, Copper, Zinc & PGM containing spent catalysts & waste steams

Ferro Alloys

Ferro Titanium is used by stainless steel makers as a stabiliser to prevent chromium carbide forming at grain boundaries, De-Oxidising and in the production of low carbon steels for sheet production. We also trade in Ferro Molybdenum, Ferro Vanadium, Ferro Manganese & Ferro Tungsten

Ferro Titanium is manufactured by melting titanium scrap (sponge, chips and solids) with iron in an induction furnace. Our ferro titanium is available in standard specification as well as higher grades with low aluminium, low carbon and low oxygen standard grade specifications are as follows:

Standard Grade Chemistry

Ti – 68-77%, Al – 5% max, V – 3% max, Si – 0.5% max, Sn – 0.5% max, N2 – 0.5% max, C – 0.2% max, S – 0.05% max, P – 0.05% max

Size: 10-50mm, 5-30mm, 2-10mm, 0-2mm with packing to your specification

Typical Higher Grade(s):

Ti 68-72%, Al – 0.5% max, V – 0.5% max, C – 0.10%, N – 0.20%, O – 0.60-0.80%

Ti- 68-72%, Al – 2.50% max, V – 1.50% max, N – 0.40% max, O – 1.00% max
